Neuro_MR_Brain&Neck: 55 M, left ICA dissection on outside CTA

History

55 yo M presenting from OSH with outside CTA demonstrating left ICA dissection.

Findings / Diagnosis

1. Thrombosed or dissected tortuous distal cervical segment of left ICA with associated severe stenosis, decreased flow-related enhancement on TOF MRA images extending up to the supraclinoid segment, with reconstitution of flow related enhancement thereafter. No evidence of infarction.
