Axial images demonstrate a large T2 hyperintense lesion measuring 21.1 x 20.4 cm.
Layering T2 hypointense material is noted within the lesion.
A faintly connected component is seen anteriorly.
Craniocaudally the lesion measures 24.3 cm
.
T1 imaging demonstrates intrinsic T1 hyperintensity without internal enhancement. A thick rimmed capsule does demonstrate mild enhancement.
